Biography

Ari Qayumi is a Principal with Silicon Valley Data Capital.

Previously, Ari led RBC’s global next-gen product development as a Group Product Manager as well as worked in RBC Capital Markets as a Director. Ari identified, established relationships, designed high ROI use cases, and created monetization plays in partnership with strategic technology companies. Further, Ms. Qayumi was tasked with identifying and delivering on digital transformation across capital markets, wealth management, and personal and commercial banking. Prior to RBC, Ari worked at IdeaFlow, a shared brain for organizations, as an Interim COO as well as at Morgan Stanley as an Analyst in Wealth Management and Alternative Investments. Prior to that, Ari Cofounded and operated a technology company in elite nightlife industry that enabled dynamic pricing and personalized individual and group engagements.

Ari is also a Researcher at the Stanford Behavior Design Lab, where she focuses on habit formation, behavior sequences, and consensual technology design to facilitate sustainable behavior change at scale.

Ari is completing her terminal degree in Symbolic Systems at Stanford University.
